What inspired you to start the Daily Dress Edit?
I had thought about it for a while as quite simply, I love dresses and shop 99% of my wardrobe from instagram. But it was a case of a friend spurring me on saying ‘if you don’t do it someone else will’ and I react well to a bit of competition.
Who’s sense of style do you most admire?
Anyone who is brave with print and colour like Giovanna Engelbert (nee Bataglia).
What makes up your perfect Autumn capsule wardrobe?
A lot of burgundy, a dash of velvet and the perfect camel coat.

What’s a typical day for you?
Every day it totally different depending on which clients I am with, which is why I love what I do. From boardroom to design table, to being at home with my children, it is completely diverse.
Tell us what you’re secretly good at outside your job?
I am a really fast reader and can devour a book in a day. With 2 young children it doesn’t happen often but its something I love doing when I get the chance.
Favourite Lisou pieces?
My Lisou blue maxi silk dress is a total show stopper. I love the pleat at the hips which makes the skirt so flattering, I love the ruffle around the neck, the long sleeve- it's such a dramatic dress but also so feminine.
We’d love to hear about your work with the charity Smart Works?
It's just an incredibly simple concept that uses fashion as a force for good. By giving vulnerable women the confidence in themselves to succeed, through dressing and mentoring sessions, they can transform their lives.
Dream dinner party guests?
Michelle Obama, she is as charming in person as you would expect and great fun. Charlotte Rampling as she is my all time crush and Penelope Cruz as she is a brilliant actress. Thats it- very selfish but then I get them all to myself.

Items in your wardrobe you’re most likely to hand down?
I have 2 boys so I’m a bit stuck. But some lucky person will get my vast collection of Anya Hindmarch bags that I have collected over the years having worked for Anya for 10 of them.
What’s your life mantra?
If you want something done properly, do it yourself.
