School's Design Competition
Here at Lisou we are serious about our social responsibility and sustainable footprint. We have a clear goal of supporting projects that help to improve medical and educational facilities in Africa, as well as initiatives in the UK that make a real difference to the lives of children within our local community.
The West London Schools Design Competition
Last year Lisou has begun its annual charitable school competition. We believe in the importance of creative outlets, giving children a way to express themselves. With this in mind, we reached out to every state school in our area of West London ; the Royal borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The aim was to target both primary and secondary schools, allowing pupils to create their own scarf designs and win the chance to have them manufactured and sold in our boutique.
Inspiring Design
We divided the competition up into two divisions, Primary ages 8-12 and secondary ages 12-16. We received over 200 applicants with outstanding quality throughout the designs making the choice of both a winner and a highly commended entry very difficult. From this, all profits will go directly back towards supporting the winning schools art department. Each winner also received art supplies from Windsor and Newton in the hope that they are encouraged to continue in their creative endeavours.

Global, Educational and Medical Funding
A part of our core belief is to make a positive global impact. Throughout every season a piece from each collection is chosen as a stand-alone print and piece, with all profits from sales donated to our chosen educational and medical charities in East Africa.
